I see a little edge of overconfidence coming out of some of us who are letting the inner homer out.

Say we lose to the Lions.

Would anyone be mad or just assume that hey, we were supposed to be 6-10, Go Cowboys!?

I am going to be mad of course. The main reason is that I don't think the Lions are that great. We have beaten better teams throughout the year.

Thoughts?

I too have noticed people on this board are already talking about playing Green Bay in two weeks as if we already won this game. We need to concentrate on the Lions first, it won't be a gimmie.

The Lions have not looked good against good teams and this offense is just in too good of a flow for us to lose. If we do lose, it'll either be because our D finally turned into the pumpkin we know it is or cause Romo is the choker he's made out to be.

I would be pissed. Now if we win and then lose at GB I won't be nearly as pissed. I would have the attitude that we really exceeded expectations and have some hope for next year.

I won't be pissed at losses to any team not named Detroit or Arizona.

I'll be disappointed but not pissed.

Anything past this week is gravy though.

I'm going to be mad because this is a team we are supposed to beat, with or without Suh.

Honestly, this season...this team...is good enough to win the Super Bowl. I'll be disappointed if we don't win it all. Romo is not getting any younger and then offense may not be this good again for a long time.

Our positivity won't effect the outcome. If this was the team reading their press clippings I'd be worried.

But this is the team that beat Seattle in Seattle, to cap off an amazing winning streak.

This is a team that blew out a 10 win team and shut out Andrew Luck to clinch the playoffs.

This team went to Philly and took the division back in a game that was considered a forgone conclusion.

This team is undefeated in December, undefeated on the road.

This is a team with heart, a team that can punch someone in the mouth. A team that can generate turnovers. A team that can run and pass as good as any.

If we lose, it's because of a key injury. Or because Detroit has their best game of the year.

I think it is starting already.

There is some chirping coming from Dallas players lately that I don't like.

They have been very quiet and reserved most of the year.

I felt pretty good up until today.

Now I have nervous shits.

And it is only fucking Tuesday.

The Lions are frauds.

F' them.

2 quality wins all year. They beat an 8-8 Miami team and they beat Green Bay. Other than that, they simply padded their stats against sub .500 competition.

All their losses, except the one to a decent 9-7 Bills team, came against playoff teams.

They're nothing but frauds.

Like what? I haven't seen anything like that.

We are here...might as well win it. Playing better than anyone right now. Fuck the Lions, Packers, and Seahawks. NFC is ours.

Oh you know. But I will say this, barring a total collapse by Dallas,I like their chances.

They should beat the Lions and if they don't that means they didn't play very well, so I'll be disappointed. Dallas is the better team.

I don't know that they'll be able to jump out to a big early lead like they have in most of the month of December though and I don't know that the D is going to create multiple turnovers. If they don't do those things then Detroit can beat them.

I'm very impressed by the way Dallas played in December. Most of the year, really, but December did yield some "90s style beatdowns", to quote Carp. They're playing well and have a chance to do something in the postseason. All that said, I'm still concerned that that they lose in the first round of the playoffs and the season they had is diminished.

Disappointed, not pissed..... Unless it's a massive choke job or something.

We should win this game for the reasons Booze stated, but I still view us as a flawed team whose margin of error is slim. I can see us losing this game, which is why I wouldn't be pissed.

With that said, if this team truly is different like we think they are, then they find a way to win it.
