Yeah…I’m not sure how much bigger the kid has gotten in the pros, and of course TV kinda skews things but I did see him up close live when he played CCU and you are right, he’s not a very big QB.Luckily Wilson isn't nearly as proficient at those passes as Purdy. I also think the Jets are playing with some fire. Wilson isn't really built to take a beating. If that kid takes a few shots, he might not get back up. We need to focus on stopping the run but if Parsons, Sam Williams or whoever gets a square shot on Wilson, he might not recover.
Well shit, you got me there. I really need to quit posting here when I’m trying to multitask.Last year.![]()

One thing I've noticed about Parsons is that he doesn't try to blow up QBs. He's a gentle sacker. We need to focus on stopping the run but if Parsons, Sam Williams or whoever gets a square shot on Wilson, he might not recover.

Speaking of that, I thought it was interesting a couple PCs ago Mike said he basically didn't care about the "combative" penalties (not pre-snap, those are unacceptable) that cross over the line because they encourage players to play right up to that line, and sometimes you're going to go a little over it.It's sort of why I mentioned Sam Williams. He lives on the edge but that guy wants to absolutely crush the QB. Now he is on the edge, which is why we see the penalties, but he is not one to mess with. The snap he jumped against the Giants I thought might get Daniel Jones killed.
He’s violent as he blows up olinemen , but careful not to draw a penalty hitting the QB.One thing I've noticed about Parsons is that he doesn't try to blow up QBs. He's a gentle sacker.
