Eh….if the team hadn’t laid an egg in a couple Jets type games last season, we possibly would have had an easier path to the playoffs not having to go thru SF.

I’m always wary of these Cowboys teams shitting the bed.

You beat me to it.

We lost way too many games last year that we shouldn't have and that likely cost us the #1 seed.

We can't lose this game this Sunday or have too many letdowns as a whole. Even great teams can suffer an upset, but we've suffered too many in recent years and they've hurt our chances in January.

We need to prove that we've grown from that and limit those letdown type losses.

There’s ZERO reason to lose to a twice demoted shit QB like Wilson when the Cowboys are at home with a supposedly new offense for the new Dak and a D crowing about being the best in the NFL.
But I’m STILL nervous. Damn Cowboys.

Since they won’t be shipping a first to GB now that Rodgers can’t play >65% of their snaps, I’d tell them that we want their 1st rounder for him if they asked for him in a trade.

The 49ers defense gave up like 300+ yards passing and 30 points to Jarrett Stidham and the Raiders in December last year, shit happens in the NFL, there aren't more than maybe 3-5 defenses in NFL history who go through an entire season dominating every single game all year long.

No.

I don't really give a shit what anybody else is doing because they're not the ones that have something to prove like we do.

The defense gave a Super Bowl worthy performance both against Tampa and the 49ers last year in the playoffs, if you want to say the team as a whole has something to prove, sure, but the defense as it stands now has proven themselves on the biggest stage despite whatever the fuck happens in some random game here and there.

Basically, I'm not worried at all about the defense barring injury. The offense still has a good bit to prove but in my mind I already know exactly what we have defensively.

First, fuck kaepernick.

Second, out of those guys listed if they go that route, I’d bring in Wentz. He’s struggling, but the rest are washed up trash. The Jets have a strong defense and running game. He wouldn’t be asked to carry the team like he was his last two stops. He still has the talent. But his mind is fucked. Maybe some time as a bus driver would help him regain his confidence. And he could sit for awhile behind Wilson until he gets his groove back. Maybe he never does, but I still think he’d be a better option of those listed.

Yeah we shouldn't lose. We just need to not fuck up. No punt returns for TDs, no turnovers that lead to easy scores, no blown coverages where the offense gets an easy and cheap score.

So yeah, don't fuck up. The Jets aren't a total loser team. They are a pretty good team with a shitty QB.

I would roll with Wilson and sink or swim. I don't think any of those guys are better options. Worst case scenario you get a better draft slot; it's most likely a lost season at this point no matter what they do.

Same here. You can see he's very talented, and it's not like he's failed for five or six years for three different teams. He's still young. Maybe he figures it out and you have something. Those others on that list you know can't play.
