If they are the most educated then they should be the most qualified and, in turn, shouldn't have any problems.

Ignoring the fact that they aren't the most educated demographic, my guess is the argument would be their problem is racism. That they are being passed up because of the racism/sexism that takes place.

The other problem with this assumption is that education doesn't equal employment necessarily either. Plenty of people with a college degree make terrible employees. And plenty of jobs don't benefit from someone having a college degree. Of course there is also the problem of what the degree is in. Big difference between an engineering degree and a degree in Liberal Arts. If you want to know what men fall short in terms of degree's it's because men tend to hold the trades job that a college degree is worthless for. You don't go to a four year college to become a welder or a lineman for example. You also don't see many women holding those jobs.
