I'm sure it was. I'm just saying I've seen thinner people in Africa.

If you can't even feed yourself, don't have kids. It's that simple.

Two, Jon's right, if you can't feed yourself don't have kids. I am mean that is not saying much, not quite sure how you can get upset with that. That said, I think people generally abide by that principle. Nothing puts a damper in births like famine. But, if you live in a shit place shit things are periodicly going to happen. You can't not have kids because there will be cyclical famines. Shit you better have a few more kids, that way you can spare to lose a few when the hard times invariably hit.
