Hill: Jerry Jones told coaches "don't come in here with same old same old"

Apparently you haven't seen Escobar as a jump ball receiver. He will be a beast at the goal line. Oh wait we tried the exact same shit with Bennett. God I remember running fades to that turd and watching him drop the ball. Expect us to do the same shit with Escobar instead of throwing the jump ball to Dez who is one of the best in the NFL.

Well it's not as simple as this. CBs know how to put their bodies on WRs making it hard to go up and get the jump ball. LBs not as much. Escobar is also tall as hell. Presents a bigger matchup problem as a jumpball receiver.

I don't know how to take this. Is he implying Garrett and co wanted this pick and Jerry signed off on it only if they changed the offense or Jerry wanted this pick and told them make it work. To me it sounds like a Garrett pick which makes sense because he is on the hot seat.

Bennett was a headcase before he finished high school. I told this group he was when he was drafted. Jones screwed up on him and refused to acknowledge it.

He's a productive guy away from Dallas predictably. The key with him is he's not Witten. You can't go to him on 3rd down or in the 4th quarter. He is the opposite of clutch. You also need to give him a number of chances because he drops a lot. That being said, he can do plenty of damage given enough touches. Kind of the Allen Iverson of TEs...

I really hate that sonofabitch.

He is still a headache.

I hate this pick because there was so much more available, but Witten is rapidly approaching the cliff he will not be a featured guy outside of 2 more years.

It bothers me when we've been throwing away draft picks for years, including the entire 2009 draft.

ST's draft!!!

Last year was the Defense draft, at least until late final day.
This year was Offense draft early.

And yes, they actually plan this shat.

Is Romo going to die in 2 years? Witten's game translates well to being around a long time. His game isn't based on speed at all.

Witten's age is rapidly approaching the point where strength and stamina will be affected if he is left in the game full time. He will need a few series to sit out and regroup so I think is where Escobar comes into play initially.
