Well the Iranians say they knew in March and moved all their shit, so there is that.
 
The truth is, none of us really knows if this was a good idea or not. I've been against these entanglements and I'm against this one. But what if Iran really was close to assembling an actual deliverable nuclear weapon? Rubio said they were close to having a missile that could reach not just Israel (which of course they already could do), but the eastern US. If true, maybe we really did have to do this.

What I would be skeptical about is the accuracy of the intelligence. How do we know this isn't another WMD Iraq situation?

But if it isn't, maybe destroying these sites had to be done.

If they were close to having nuclear weapons I actually agree with bombing the sites. Beyond that I want to stay as far away from the conflict as possible. The way Iran could try to hit us back is the same playbook we have seen from terrorist organizations for decades. And yeah, that's the shit that's legitimately hard to stop. Its also why it is important to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorists. So yeah.

Beyond that I have no idea if our intelligence on nuclear weapons and material were accurate. And we probably will never know.
 


I thought the warheads detonated way underground. That would not be the same as a regular bomb. I get that these idiots are fooled, but there is some shit on the intrawebz.
