I wish Skid would come back. I talk to him on Facebook sometimes, I said, why aren't you around anymore? I forget his answer but I think the short version was he felt like it wasn't good for him personally or his mental health to be hanging around here all the time. And I get it, in prior times of my life I spent way too long on here arguing.

But I said, why don't you just drop by once in a while? And I think he was like, either that even that didn't interest him, or, he was afraid of falling back down the rabbit hole. I get it I guess, but I wish he'd return now and then.

Of course it doesn't help that there's absolutely nothing good to talk about regarding the actual Dallas Cowboys.

He is a good dude. I wish he’d come back too

Holy shit, that was a lifetime ago!

I'd recently started a new job and was issued my first work phone...didn't even have a cell of my own back then.

Our oldest, who is now 20, was just a toddler.

We were chilling by the pool and she chucked the brand new phone right in the water.

My son did that to one of my phones once. Once it dried, it still worked

If Plan9Misfit was on that board, he would’ve approved that behavior. He can only imagine how much funnier his potshots at that shit stain city known as Lubbock would have been had he mocked it in the third person.
