I'm sure he does but if he only wants a 1 year deal how do you determine what he is worth? I was thinking this would be 3 year deal or so with incentives but it doesn't sound like that's what he wants.

Why do you think he only wants a 1 year deal? I really don't want that. I'd take it if we have to, but if we are going to endure him missing 6 games next year, I'd at least like the reward of having him for a couple full seasons after that. I just don't really want a 1 year rental.
