I can get it. It took me a while to get him.

You know one guy I never found funny or mind-blowing?

Mitch Hedberg.

Hedberg is in no way mind blowing. But I did think he was very funny. Probably overrated though, I'll give you that.

He was a clean comic. I really don't have a lot of time for that unless they are really clever.

I never found him clever.

It was like someone who was obsessed with wordsplay got stoned.

he was a liberal douche. Carlin was liberal too, but he took ample shots at both sides.

Honestly, has there ever been a "Conservative" comic?

I can't think of one, except maybe Larry The Cable Guy, maybe Jeff Foxworthy.

maybe in his private life, but I don't think his act is political
Yeah, there aren’t many if at all.

Unless you count the actual politicians themselves, then game on.

Dennis Miller, Adam Corolla, Nick DiPaolo, I'd consider Norm Macdonald conservative (though he tried to avoid the label), Gutfeld, Benjamin, there have been others also.

That is fucking heresy, and I will not stand for it.

I think a lot of his fame so to speak came because of his death. Had he lived, most people would regard him as a less clever Steven Wright.
This is false. He was viewed as great when he was alive.
