Giants Stuff....

You approve of Clark over Murray? Both looked meh to me.
Murray just represents more of what we don't need-- another non-physical, not super instinctive guy who's average vs the run. At least we drafted Clark, I have no idea why we signed Murray.

Worse....we traded a 6 for him

... which we could afford had we known we weren't paying Micah.

I think Jerry viewed the Cowboys signing him as a clear admission he chose the wrong back in 2016. Jerry's ego would not let that happen, I think.

But again, his not catching the ball combined with his age is definitely a hole in his game. Do we think he'd have exploded in Dallas the way he has in Baltimore with Jackson an effective decoy on almost every handoff.

In any case, he's essentially sealed his HOF status, though likely not first ballot without a championship. Too bad it wasn't meant to be :(

healthy scratch = massive red flag
I think they are basically saying this shit to cover the call from Jerry to play the contracts. If Sanders is a healthy scratch (which he should be) it seriously calls Jerry's GM'ing into question, while it's OK on the surface to do that to a 5th round pick like Blue ( who was also dinged in preseason).

I will say though Blue does not appear to be very hardy at all. I worry he'll break like glass under real carries, and I'm not confident there will be ball security if he does.

I actually don't think it's that. It's not like they paid Sanders much. I think they'd like to play Blue, but he's apparently a little bit of a dipshit.

But who knows, he might play Sunday.
