I must admit I was worried about Nolan. Has he ever really fielded an elite defense? Some of his defenses have been average AF. This smacked of a loyalty hire.
 
im glad a lot of you guys are drunk. might be SSDY for us this year. if we cant slap the Rams around, we got nothing.

It wasn’t so much that he’s a defensive wizard, but his units have consistently generated turnovers, which is the exact complement this offense needs.

Ya know, in theory.
