Because they do. They've started with Washington twice and Cleveland once in the last four years. They played Atlanta once for their only slightly tough game. Washington is like our usual season opener with the Giants.

I mean, State Farm could’ve given the new actor any new name, Kenny, or something.

Is ‘Jake’ iconic enough, like 007 or Colonel Sanders, to have different actors? I don’t think so.

State Farm has several commercials with different female agents and they all have different names and personas. Why is Jake so special?

I’d be perturbed ifa different actress was used to depict Lily
 
I don't give a shit. I'm a hype it up and not worry about the let down. As tradition goes, ten minutes prior to the early game, I've got a badass national anthem queued up.
