Gameday Chatter Thread |Cowboys v. Giants| 09-11-16

Biggest disappointment of the day is Elliot and the OL.
Elliott looked like warmed over dog shit, our OL picked the absolute worst of time to play like crap. Back to back holds and a false start on the final drive.

No fucking excuse for that.

It isn't all right. It is a preventable mistake. High School football players know to get out of bounds in that situation.

When he did it, I was screaming, "YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOOTBALL YOUR ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE AND YOU DO THAT STUPID SHIT!".

Zeke looked like dogshit.

This scouting dept knocked another one out of the park.

Claiborne best since Sanders.
Zeke best since AP.

:lol

Not sure what you were expecting. They focused on stopping the run like any team would with a rookie QB back there.

Teams focused on stopping noodle armed Moore and Cassel last year yet the OL still opened running lanes.

No excuses. They played like crap today.

Morris looked good when he played. But we were hellbent and giving the carries to the 4th overall pick who missed most of the preseason.

Look at this mess. Could have easily ran out of bounds at the 45.

need 15 yds

That to me ended any chance at getting a FG.

The play before Williams, we didn't have enough time for 2 completions. The ball needed to go at least 15, preferably 20 yards down the field, then have everyone run up for a spike at around the 43 yard line with 5 seconds left.

When he threw that incomplete to Witten (a pass he never should've thrown given Witten was only 10 yards to the field), that eliminated any chance of getting a real shot at a makeable FG.

If only we had a coach that could teach the players to get out of bounds when trailing with no time outs and under a minute to play...

The types of runs we chose to run didn't help either.

It's no coincidence that Morris was more successful because we ran more conventional running plays with him in there.
