What are you talking about? I bet Jerry has the next coach already penciled in, and I wouldn't doubt if they are already on staff.

He did have Zimmer but will now have to settle for Campo.

I think Jones would keep Garrett again before promoting anyone on this staff.

Why? We build an Assisant coaching staff almost solely on their potential as interim HC abilities.

3 former HC's already on staff.

Actually, that is something they should have done some time ago since Garrett is/was so green.

I think Harbaugh had quite a few former head coaches around when he started out in Baltimore.

At this point, yes. I was just saying it was they should have done from the get go.

Or, heck, even when he was an OC. Maybe some old grizzled vet like, I don't know, Dan Reeves to mentor him.

Name one that Jones would consider an upgrade. Linehan is just an older Garrett. Marinelli is 65 and his last stint as a coach was awful. Callahan has already been demoted.

Clabo sucked ass in Miami though.

What they needed not to do is hire Homer J. Tice as OL coach. Carimi is one of his pets.

That's a reasonable price and the kind of thing we should have been in the market for.

NFL has raised the cap 5% to 130 million. Cap relief, Baby!
