I like him, would have liked to get in on that.

Damn, we really are gonna get nothing and like it.

:sad

There goes one of the cheap rushmen that were supposed to just be hanging around so we could grab them to be another Mincey.

Once Hardy goes elsewhere, then the FAIL will be complete.

He's our last hope before we have to look to using early draft picks to solve our pass rush issue.

I am not feeling the DL we are likely to have a shot at in the first. Unless something odd happens, we aren't getting a guy any better than Lawrence there.

Bye Murray, hello Trent. :tippytoe

That's sort of the problem. It's not that I don't think we can get a talented guy at the end of the first. It's just very rare for a rookie pass rusher to come in and light it up. Especially a rookie pass rusher drafted outside of the top 20 of the draft. So every if we draft a D-lineman in the first I'm expecting a year before they really catch on. Sort of like it took Lawrence. It's why I want Greg Hardy so much.

Had the team returned intact with Murray, I would be okay with the rookie end. But now the problem becomes we are a weaker team without a back and we still have the same issue with end. Hardy could at least mitigate the downward step on offense by bringing some legitimacy to the defense.

Do neither, we are lucky to win six games next season.

Well doing nothing is just silly. We have the money. Players are available who can help us. So go get some guys to help the team. It isn't rocket science.

If we do nothing now we head in the draft absolutely desperate at D-line, LBer and RB. You then basically have to say screw getting talent and target specific positions in every round.

Wow.

Prediction might drop to 5-11

I'm intrigued by Hardy but I am not upset if we don't get him. He's a chip for the DL, but I don't know if I see him as a cornerstone.

Frankly Nick Fairley interests me more.
