Fraud Thread...

Yeah, straight up hacking into an account and removing money would certainly be a frightening development.

On the other hand, as an attorney that deals with financial matters for people, I see clients getting scammed into handing out access to their accounts, or just voluntarily giving money away to scammers, like two or three times a month.

Completely understandable for an older person, of course. Just saying that is way more common.

Yeah I've had clients call me about some of the scams because they don't know if it's real or not. Getting a call claiming you have a warrant and that you need to pay for it over the phone is scary. And they even spoof local sherrif offices numbers to do it. It's unfortunate how good some of the scammers have become.

I've had that happen before.
 
Another fun fact (I'm at home this afternoon so I looked it up) is the Dems only had $306,000 in debt just one year ago. So, they added $18.2 million in debt in just 12 months. Wow.
