It would be awesome if a candidate ran on a platform like that but that is not how the business works.

At the risk of sounding offensive, they sound just as confident and brazen as the scam calls you get on the phone. It's like they think if they say things in a serious and confident enough tone, that everyone will just believe what is obviously fake.

I think they're so used to the easy scam that they can't comprehend resistance.

The one thing I wonder about a lot of these fraudsters is that while they are sly enough to exploit the system, they are dumb enough to get caught. The entire care industry is inept and these half wits can still find the spot to exploit. It shows the industry is also probably complicit.
