Absolutely. Many are insecure about where they are in a company or business and constantly have to remind management just how valuable they are by reeling off a list of accomplishments. I have much more respect for people who don't self promote and just do their job. Way too many need to be patted on the head and given a scooby snack.

A lot of this flap is just Super Bowl Champion hangover. They have rode the parade bus for several months and thought everything was at their feet. Suddenly they are back in uniform and some teams are busting them. Thy aren't used to that and the fingerpointing starts. It happens to most SB winning teams.
