The stakes that are being played right now does not mean that kind of intel is better saved up rather than expended when things are simply on fire. That would be the nuclear option.

I know I would if I were planning this from the DNC side.

I mean they made up a Russian dossier to try to frame the guy. They will go to whatever lengths they have to. Doesn't mean they will let Old Bill go down with the ship.

But a secret service agent took a bullet for Reagan so it's not like they just let him do it. And Reagan was getting into a car at the time I think so they may have let their guard down a little thinking he was safely in.

I don't either. As for the collapse of WTC 7, it caught fire after the collapse of the north building from flying debris, and burned uncontrolled for over 7 hours, while emergency crews were focused on the two main buildings. The bottom floors were completely destroyed which weakened the structural columns and transfer trusses.
