You keep making statements like this that have no merit he did fine when he had to start for Smith and he did fine when he rotated with Free, when did he play bad?

You do not move a rookie to tackle at this point in the season especially when he has not practiced the position at all you are just asking for trouble.

Teams have won games with less at RT just look at the Eagles and Giants.

Not confident in him either.

But I am not disrupting two positions on the OL because he looked bad at preseason. I would have him on a short leash for a week or two.

I did not "absolutely hate" Leary -- he was bad last year down the stretch, and he's playing much better now.

Beating out the astounding Mackenzie Bernadeau is really something to brag about.

Newsflash... Bernadeau is another player that, if he was playing now, I'd be saying we need to upgrade.

Last year the two players were about equal. Actually, I seem to remember some people on here even saying Bernadeau was better, there was legit debate about it.

Leary took a step this year. It's that simple.

You are a moron if you think he's not playing light years better this year as opposed to last year.

No, because as Iamtdg pointed out, it doesn't take any insight when you keep predicting the same exact thing and are eventually right.

His play last year did not make me feel that he needed to be immediately replaced. Right now he's the fifth best player on the line though.

Anyway... Leary is playing much better this year than last year... if you can't admit that, then there is no reason to continue this conversation.
