Meanwhile Irving is still being held.

I don't think people are giving Rodgers enough credit in all of this, its not like he was throwing to wide open people all day, most of the catches were contested.

I remember saying is nobody going to drop a contested ball today for GB, he was truly throwing guys open.

And lets not forget the miracle play of him hanging on to the ball on that sack, which still boggles my mind.:budd

At the end of the day I have to say it was just his day as much as anything we did wrong.

That's they way I saw it also. Rodgers was brilliant if for no other reason than he pegged the Dallas defense and had his way with them.

Just listened to Bill Simmons' podcast and they say GB was in the nickel formation on defense all but 5 times during the game. Zeke barely ran the ball more than 20 times.

This has to be one of the worst coaching performances in the history of football.

Our only hope is that the defense gets fixed so every game is a blowout to eliminate close games which will keep the games from being decided by coaching blunders.

Problem this year is we draft 30th. Not sure how much help we'll end up with.

Then you see teams like the patriots who make the playoffs then just lean over slightly and fall into the Superbowl..

Or the several times teams like GB, NYG's or Pittsburgh win SB's as a 5th or 6th seed and we can't even get past the divisional round despite having HFA twice now in the last 10 years.

9 out of 10 times that's a sack and fumble. Not to mention Crosby hitting the 3rd longest FG in playoff history where a miss has us tied and the ball at the 45 with just over a minute and a half. Just can't ever get the one pivotal play to put us over the top. Jerry obviously sold what was left of his soul in '95 when we won a SB with Barry.

But watch the grinning robot get Coach of the Year votes.

God, the hyperbole is really out of control with this game.

I know you are just trying to stick up for your man but if that is true then its pretty close. From time management, underestimating Rodgers, gameplan, and play calling it is very bad. Now Im not going to stick it all on Garrett because they all have a hand in it but its just hard to understand why we got this performance in the playoffs.

Agree. The defense strategy in the first half was deplorable. It was simply setting the formations up to play right into Rogers hand. He just had a field day and put Dallas on their heels the rest of the game even though they slowed him down in the second half.

There were times when the defense geared to force a rush in the second half and it worked but it wasn't sustainable because of not having enough personnel to continue mix it up. Rogers just wasn't contained and that spells doom for his opponents. Contain him and you control the Packers.

This merely points out that the Dallas defense needs a fix and it won't take a lot to do it.

He made some amazing throws. The first td pass was shit luck to go right between Lees Arm and his head to drop into his rec hands. But damn he made it. Had Lee turned his head back it hits his face mask.

I'm sure there have been many worse collapses in regular season games. In terms of games on the big playoff stage, this coaching disaster has to be up there.
