DeSean Jackson Released

ESPN - Redskins moving closer to agreement with former Eagles WR DeSean Jackson, sources tell ESPN
 
I hope he can avoid falling into gang activity in Washington.

Jackson is a good WR, but not an elite one and he's a one trick pony who can be taken out of games schematically or because he just doesn't give a shit. I personally think the Eagles passing game was a bit of a fluke last year statistically as well.

Jackson/Garcon is a very solid WR combination but neither of them are on the level of a guy like Calvin, AJ, etc., and without Shannahan's zone blocking smoke and mirrors I don't see their OL/running game being particularly productive.

I have lost my emotion for that kinda shit now. I don't believe we are even in the conversation anymore, so why worry about what other teams are doing, regardless of division.

I'm not worried about him staying in the division. Heath and Wilcox have a year of experience under their belt and should be ready to dominate this Fall.

We'll have Mo locking down Garcon as well.
