Not a favorite of mine since I'm skeptical that he'd be able to organize an entire defense and call the plays, but I'd try basically anything except Eberflus at this point and he's as good a dart throw as any if you aren't getting an established guy like Bowles or Schwartz.

Yeah, he's not an established guy. But then again, none of these guys were until they were given their first DC job.

He's a young guy that I think would relate well with today's players. He's a fiery motivator that is a stickler for details and has already shown what he can do on the back end while here. We still have players on this team that were here when he was, and they look like night and day in comparison from then to now. Let's get back to that.

Remains to be seen if he can oversee the whole shebang on defense. But I'm willing to take that chance. Get some good assistants in to help and let 'er rip. If he fails...? Oh well. No different than what we've been seeing already.

I would be very happy with Harris.
 
One thing about Harris, they said he was the one who enabled Diggs when he was here... let him be late to meetings without punishment, that kind of thing. Not sure that works as a DC.
 
If Flores is truly out of a contract I think it'd be an extreme long shot, but one reason I think it could happen is that I think the league sees how succeeding at a high profile spot like Dallas got Quinn another shot, whereas that might not have happened anywhere else.

Yeah it's probably a good point. I mean I don't give a shit because he is great at his job. But I can see where a team like ours could be skittish.

True. I think the ridiculous situation he was in at Miami will make people pause though.
