I could not stand Bobcat Goldthwait either. He was a different screamer than Kinison.

But he got a role in Back to School, so Rodney had to at least have had professional respect for him.

I watched one of his stand-ups about 2010, and he had completely stopped doing the annoying screaming thing. It was actually pretty good.
