DCC Appreciation Thread...

Again, the old Cotton would have just moved along.
You will have to define "old Cotton" before I can interact any further on this subject.

I would rather have control over what I tip or don't. A mandatory extra fee is dumb. If you want to pay your employees more, then do so. Making it mandatory so the customers pay that wage hike is ridiculous.

Agreed.

I see that sign and I'm leaving. 12% guaranteed and what if they were shitty. It does take a lot for me to not leave a tip but there have been some extreme cases where it was warranted. I generally tip pretty well but that sign will make me do math because Im not tipping what I normally tip and have a service fee.

Pretty sure 2007 possibly 2009
You're right... I looked in my TR cruisebook. It was 2009.

That's a bad model. Just raise your prices.

You could have just said you went out with a gentleman.

The more I think about this the more is disgusts me about our culture now. I never once asked a girl out if I wasn't fully expecting to pay for everything. Hell, back then, if you didn't pay for everything it was a source of embarrassment. You would be ridiculed. Now it's an anomaly? Jesus, what has happened to us?
