DCC Appreciation Thread...

I've never not owned a car with a clutch since my very first car.

My very first car was a clutch and I had little to no training with it. Just pushed out of the nest to learn how to fly. That first major intersection where I had to turn on an unprotected turn was fun (not for my passenger).

I learned on a clutch.

My father parked the POS Toyota Tercel with no air conditioning and roll up windows on a hill and had me learn like I should have.
My brother took his driving test with the parking brake on. I come from a long line of shitty drivers.

And what about stop lights on hills... :skurred

i lived in Abilene at the time. What are hills?

I did almost let the car roll into a parked car because I thought it was in gear.

I never learned to drive a clutch. I guess I'm a disgrace to GenX.
Hated it, but when you're forced to learn it you do.

This generation prolly never will have to, but if they were, eh, I suspect they'd be fine.

I learned to drive a stick shift when I was about 13. But, my first car was actually an automatic. A '72 Nova.
