I was genuinely offended when the foil went away after the advent of the microwave.

Speaking of foil, remember the popcorn you used to make on the stove that came in a tin foil container? Was it called Jiffypop or something like that?

Yes. They still have that. It seems to be making a comeback since the microwave popcorn was scaled back with the carcinogens.

Yeah, all microwave popcorn sucks ass now. We will buy it pre-popped in bags before we buy the microwave kind.

Are those any good? Thought about getting one. I do use just a brown paper bag the rare times I make popcorn.

They are okay. Just do not allow your family to put oil into it.

What I notice/remember about those TV dinners is how tiny the portions were.

No wonder there were no obese people back then. Those TV dinners had like 450 calories after we'd spent all day burning three times that climbing trees, playing football, and getting in fights.

I remember the brownie would always be burnt, unless you undercooked everything else.

I have fallen in love with the Blasts from Sonic. I know they are basically a rip off of DQ's Blizzard but they have done it well. The Heath Blast is freaking awesome. Carry on.
