We havent read the publications or gurus’ assessments yet, so we don’t know. Fortunately, the internet is full of others who can relate the solution.

Yeah it’s the market thing in the NFL and what is even more absurd neither QB had demonstrated they are actually at a level performance wise to deserve that consideration. The scale markers are totally skewed. It’s a really messed up system.

Any better than govt workers and unions?

I mean, I think only a few occupations like salesppl are the only ones paid for quality production.

In most corporations, you have majority of non-sales employees with +80% of OTE based on salary, not quality of work.

Even waiters and waitresses get a 20% tip just for showing up, not necessarily for going above and beyond.
 
He went into Philly with a fully loaded team playing a guy who was throwing to practice squad refugees and ex-truck drivers. Forget head-to-head matchups. He doesn't deserve a penny more than Wentz.

It’s semantics, but you only get your guaranteed money guaranteed. If Dak is signed through 2024 and cut in 2021, he won’t receive a salary in 2023 and 2024.

Even so, at least you get fired.

For govt workers and unions, it takes a lot more time and effort.

C-rock, I’ve repeatedly said Dak isn’t the hot garbage you think I make him out to be.

He has flaws and is still developing. Maybe better coaching and better defense plus his own development get him there. I don’t know.

I do know Tom Brady on his worst day is still very damned good and I know for damned sure he can throw a guy like Amari Cooper open.

I also know he’s never had a RB like Zeke or an OL like ours and definitely never both at the same time for five years in a row.

When Dak had a weakened OL, no Zeke, and average WRs— he looked terrible.

Tom Brady can still will his team forward, defeating a highly motivated and clearly more talented Bills team twice last year in what were projected to be battles for the division title.

Obviously he’s not 2007 Tom Brady, but a shot at a Super Bowl victory over the next two years vs ten above average years with Dak rotating through various levels of supporting talent looks very appealing.

I can’t quantify it, but the Belichick factor has to elevate our impressions of Brady as well.

Zeke, OL and Garrett vs Belichick

Who knows. I’m interested in seeing Brady go elsewhere to answer that question.

Montana solidified his legacy, even without a Super Bowl, with his time in Kansas City. Peyton Manning and Kurt Warner, too.

pdom, I was just having this very conversation recently. When Montana brought KC into contention, even I as a biased, jaded Cowboys fan who loved Roger Staubach had to give the guy his due.

That achievement, turning average players like Willie Davis into playoff performers cemented his greatness to me.

Yeah I'm curious to see what Brady does with a new team. I don't think he is carying anyone to a Superbowl but I think the Colts are the best fit. No QB of the future but a good defense, great Oline and good recievers. Perfect fit for him in my opinion.

I really wish you were around when @Iamtdg started our revolution. Some of us still fight the good fight by refusing to give those inbred mouth-breathers our hard earned money, because hitting them in the wallet is the only thing they’ll notice. As long as fans keep selling out the stadium, their behavior won’t change.

Remember this statement, because it’s important:

i chuckled then and I still do. The progress made from then to now has been that Dallas has now captured the world title to richest sports franchise.
