Dak Watch Thread...

So, you're good with trading a proven good to great QB in the slim hope you can nail a draft pick? That's really dumb.
yes, we should copy the Chiefs' blueprint for success. favor fortunes the bold.

So draft a QB than. Let me know which one in this draft you can trade up for who gives you Pat Mahomes vibes. Otherwise this whole conversation is pointless. And oh by the way, the Chiefs sat Mahomes for a year while Alex Smith started so even they weren't retarded enough to dump a good starter until they knew what they had.

The fact that this fourth round pick is a 27 year old top 5-10 QB in the NFL blows this whole retarded theory out of the water.
It's beyond silly.

Mahomes is an enigma. You would lose a proven top 5-10 QB on a .1% gamble. You wouldn't do very well in Vegas.

Not really. If you don't want to completely scuttle this year, you can franchise Dak and draft his replacement. Or trade Dak, sign Brady/Rivers to a short deal, and draft a young QB.

Which QB you betting your franchise on? Curious minds want to know more about your brilliant QB analysis.

Are you actually Jerry Jones? Cause, it kinda feels like it right now.

Or, hear me out, let's try signing baseball players as our qb.

I swear some of yall don't remember how bad our qb situation was for years until we lucked into Romo, and now that we have lucked into another qb yall want to get rid of him to play the lottery again

No, sentimental Jerry will do the exact opposite and overpay Dak. He caved on Zeke and will do so again. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

The post above yours makes this really ironic.
Not really. He made a veiled reference to Chad Hutchinson (a free agent) while I'm advocating drafting a QB high.

Quincy Carter was drafted in the second round.

Oh. Drew Henson also played baseball, hence my confusion. Had to go all the way back to 2000, huh?

We played the qb lottery for quite awhile

Please don't make me list them.

Okay, I will.

Quincy Carter
Drew Henson
Ryan Leaf
Chad Hutchinson
Clint Stoerner

And, that doesn't even include the Bledsoe's and Testeverde's that we brought in to try to stop the bleeding.

and safety. maybe this is the year we finally invest a high pick (if they ignore my QB strategy).
God, I hope they do.

Additionally I know the offer has been reported but my question is has it been verified?I’m not anti Dak, I just wonder if the stories about having offers and turning them down for whatever reason is accurate and verified. If it’s just an unconfirmed report the it makes one wonder if Jones has him in the same scenario as he did with Garrett. That’s a whole new situation.

Bengals apparently shopping the number one pick. Hmmm....
