It's the perfect rationalization. Make's their victory look more important than it was and it allows Jerruh to use the same excuse for his own team.

We may be 5-4, but we're so much better than that. ~wink~
 
So now ugly wins don't count? I have never seen so many pissed off fans over a victory. Yes it was ugly but an ugly win is preferable to usurping hate and wishing bad outcomes for the team. Most of this group has problems with the GM an/or Coach which is understandable but to wish bad things on the team. I don't get it.

What is that victory going to amount to at the end of the year?

This team is awful and there's no sense pretending that they are not. Is that 7th or 8th victory really gonna matter when we're sitting at home again and going into the draft with a draft pick between the high teens to low 20's when we're a team that really needs a draft pick closer to the top 15?

These worthless victories are doing more to hurt this team than help them.

We'll have them right where we want them then. When down big, we will be able to bench Murray and throw non-stop with the 5 wide.

I wouldn't be so sure, yes they are better than us, but this team plays to the level of the competition, they'll somehow keep it close just to lose in heartbreaking fashion...
 
It was another decent game by the defense, IMO...but just a terrible approach on the other side.
 
If Ware can come back then I feel decent about the Saints.
