Cowboys Nostalgia Thread

Loved Too Tall so much. Those guys were my first real team, those late 70s early 80s teams. Those teams just hit the nostalgia button differently.

I loved the 90s dynasty teams of course, but there's just something about those Staubach / Danny White teams that was larger than life.

Hell yeah. Throwing out names like 'TOO TALL' and 'THE MANSTER' just hit different when talking shit to your buddies. That feeling was ominous to my 9 year old self. Almost scary.

I was young (not that young) and don't remember many details about those teams other than Tony D being my favorite because I was a little running back. But what I really associate with those teams is Landry. An absolute legend. I remember his coaching show where he ran the old film projector back and forth showing you the details of plays more than I do the games themselves. Totally fascinating to a young CL.

Twenty consecutive winning seasons. Amazing. Shame that the asshole in charge is still benefiting from the incredible work done by the guy he fired.

:lol @ Danny Sullivan with legs smaller than Herschel's arms and running like my grandma

What year? I still say that was a terrible time for hair and girl's looks in general. Not the genetics, but the styles.

But yeah, that one in the middle is borderline fugly.
