I can appreciate that POV.
I think we both believe Romo could have had much more success with a legitimate coach.
I immediately think of what happened when a guy like Matt Stafford (an inferior version of Romo) finally got to play for a guy like McVay and won a SB.
 
I've heard from old timers that Meredith was very underrated. He took a ton of abuse behind some horrible lines and got farther than White did.

But I don't know anyone old enough to have seen him play to compare. I need to ask my dad about him.

There were fewer no Danny nos than no Tony nos.

Every fucking week with Romo all you had to do is look at his face and tell if he was pensive. If so, Bad Romo Day.

and Tony didn't have the pressure of replacing a legend. hell, if Q doesn't get released for doing drugs, Tony might not have stayed a Cowboy.

There were also way more plays that Romo made that Danny couldn't have made.

On the other hand, what if Parcells had started Tony earlier like Payton wanted to. Even if he wasn't ready as a rookie, maybe we didn't need to sign Bledsoe or even Vinny. And then he has more time to do something before Parcells burns out.

I loved Danny White. He did have the pressure of following up on one of that greatest QB of all time.

I just think Romo was better overall.
