There was Too Tall (technically), Walker, Harper, Vinson Smith, Kelvin Martin, Mark Stepnoski, Larry Brown, Tony Casillas, Jon Kitna, Kenyon Coleman, Toby Gowin, Keith Davis, Shaun Suisham, Brandon Carr, Jason Witten's toupee, Brett Maher and now currently, Cooper Rush.

I think Witten was the saddest case.

Herschel has to be the exception to the typical return player. Second stints tend to be forgettable.
