Jerry looks exactly like a Six Million Dollar Man or A-Team small-town villain.

Probably owns the only saw mill in the county. Bought off the sheriff and is driving all his competition out of business.

I hope some of you watched the program on Netflix about Jerry Jones and his team. I especially want to make the point which was totally misunderstood and was erroneous all along about Barry Switzer.

All that doc did was reinforce what I already believed which was Barry was a much more relaxed and less interested version of the guy he used to be and he.allowed a lack of discipline and structure to take over the locker room which ultimately led to the early demise of the Cowboys dynasty.

He should give his ring to Jimmy.

Is there anything else I missed?

Didn't watch and don't plan to, but Barry always got too much hate here. What a no-win situation - forced to take on an existing staff, several of whom resent you because they wanted the job for themselves.

Like he said himself, "They said you won with Jimmy's players... Well that's true. But I could've lost with 'em!"

It is a very well made documentary so far for me.

The subject matter is very sensitive to me and there is a lot of pain involved, so I am trying to consume it in small little bites.

There is no fucking way I could binge this.

But there is one thing...it is talking about Jerry Jones being a gambler.

Well, he is gambling now.

Except that he got barely break even chances.
 
Hansen and Switze were not comparable and it all started when Hansen thought he was punched by Switzer. He spent a lot of his time trying to paint a negative picture but all the players except Aiken were very supportive of Switzer. Airmen was simply the real horses ass in all of it because he was too pissed about Jimmy Johnson leaving. Switzer gave him his entree to UCLA when he was withouta scholarship from his broken leg at Oklahoma. By his own admission he was alone in his position of how things should have been done.
