Cowboys at Giants | Week 12 Gameday Chatter Thread | 11/24/13

I forgot you can't say anything positive around here.

:lol
Jesus, you're a whiny bastard. All I did was say the pocket wasn't perfect.

This is about like when you got your panties in a twist when I said Heath looked like shit in his first game when you were thinking we had something. How has that worked out for ya, btw?

In what universe do the Giants not talk trash on a regular basis? They've been doing it for years under Coughlin. Even before they won the first super bowl. They are consistently one of the biggest culprits in the league.

Must be dementia setting in.

Yeah, that was a strange quote. How could Coughlin NOT know about it? I'd think he'd have run across it in the media somewhere. Especially in NY.

He's played like absolute shit up until yesterday. He was decent yesterday. I never said the dude was Darren Woodson. I just said I couldn't judge an UDFA from Saginaw Valley State after he was thrust into his first career start from injury two months into his career. I've seen many a first rounder play like shit their first few games or season (s) and then end up pretty damn good. Not saying that is the case here. Ideally, he would only see the field on special teams his first year or two even if he showed anything at the safety position in practice seeing where he played his college ball at. So I stand by my comment that it's stupid to judge any player based on one freakin' game. Especially, this kid from SVSU.

The DBs as a whole played well...man to man from here out.

Does that mean thy only get 87% of a win?

It should have been that way all along. It's our CBs strength.

I hope Garrett's not talking about the plays where Murray ran out of bounds instead of trying to run over the guy. I've never seen the value in that. All it does is risk injury to an already injury prone player. Now leaving yards on the field he definitely does, but those sidelines plays, I'm fine with him running out of bounds.

I guess he does want him to try to run people over more. I don't agree with that. He can't stay healthy as it is. Why risk injury for 2-3 more yards?

I thought he got hurt a couple times when he pulled up.

Just watching the highlights again today and it was amazing the number of Coughlin faces we got.

Great stuff.

The first TD to Witten is a play I don't get why we haven't used more often.

Man, Ernie Sims was dog shit bad in this game. Maybe we better rush Lee back.
