Cowboys at Giants | Week 12 Gameday Chatter Thread | 11/24/13

We'd have to lose to at least 2 games of the Raiders, Bears and Packers.

We'd almost certainly need to lose all three. If we only lost two, we'd be 9-7 and beating the Eagles twice means they'd have to finish 10-6 for us to lose the division. Not happening. They'd have to beat the Cardinals, Lions and Bears (and Vikings). I don't see it.

Now if we lost all 3 of those games you mentioned, the Eagles could lose to us and still take the division at 9-7. I kind of doubt it, but not impossible.

Of course, the most likely scenario is we lose to them to close out the season in a win and your in, lose and your out situation.

Who knows but they have been publishing annual forecasts for years. It was actually a tounge in cheek response.

I know...and was sarcastically agreeing with you. Not familiar with young in cheek though.

The possible scenario would be us losing the next three and beating Wash./Philly to finish 8-8 while Philly won 3 of next 4 and finished 9-7.

Doubt that happens because if we were to lose the next 3 then I'd say no one we win the last 2. But if this feat were ever to be accomplished, I'd put my money on us.

For the SB, best weather scenario would probably be upper 30's and sunny for the high. But since game time is about 6:30 it'd probably be at least low 30's and dropping during game. Worst case, you can just use your imagination. Still think it's retarded to have the SB outside in NY.

I hope it's a blizzard with lightning.

Not to mention if I am paying thousands of dollars to watch the game I don't want to be in the stands fighting the weather.

Bill Belichick is a genius...all that 2:00 minute bullshit to get Cromartie injured.

All these millionaires freezing would be funny, too

True. But I think the biggest issue is possibly having the biggest game of the year be decided by weather. Then again, there's been plenty of times the AFCC or NFCC has been played in late Jan. in frigid conditions so I guess there's no reason it shouldn't be part of the biggest game now and then too.

Well saying it's going to be a bad year, is a far cry from saying there is going to be a horrible storm at that day or even that week. It's impossible to accurately predict.

I don't think they are highly accurate or anything (could be wrong), but it's coming from the farmer's almanac, which is predicting a nasty storm specifically on that day.

Me too. Be funny to have a dome team like the Saints win the NFC and then have to play the SB in a blizzard, or at least sub-zero weather.

A nor'easter hitting SB weekend would be interesting. lol

I just think you want the best possible product on the field for your premier event.
