People are riding Marinelli's jock too much. He took chicken shit and turned it into warmed up chicken shit. Our DL is atrocious. Our best player there is having the worst year of his career and is non-existent. I would like to keep him but I don't view him as an answer.
 
You can already hear the press conference:

"It's hard to win in this league. There are no bad teams in the NFL. We'll need to work harder, study the film, and keep trying to get better. It's a process."

Garrett has been the HC for pretty much every manner of embarrassing loss.

You are way too smart a poster to not realize that a defense stopping no one and keeping your offense on the sideline most of the game will have an adverse effect on it. Any time you score 21 by the fourth quarter you should at least be within striking distance.

The fact that we aren't even close is on the defense and the defense alone.

Logic goes out the window for you and others on this subject though.

Hey, he just can't seem to find the right DC to help him out. Fire Kiffin and let a 5th year HC be on his 4th DC. How many first time coaches are allowed to survive that many bad coordinator hires?

Well, we have a unique situation given that our owner picks his head coach's coordinators and apparently told Garrett to fire Ryan (and himself as play caller).
 
Garrett doesn't hire his coordinators
