Man, I disagree. I'd take the easy attempt on this XP to try to see if your kicker is capable of making a short one later.

It reminds me of watching bad high school football where the teams don't have a reliable kicker so they end up going for 2 most of the time.
 
Lions had like 20 people on the field kicking away snow. 5-yard penalty for 12 men in the huddle?

He is down there on the field, so I defer to his judgment.

That and the fact that Akers has sucked for a large part of this year anyways. They were auditioning kickers just this past week.

That was a pretty bad call by the refs on the RGIII turnover. We shouldn't have to waste time on a replay for a call that obvious. The refs must have been daydreaming.
 
The Lions DL is too much for the Eagles OL in these conditions. Quicker and stronger.
