You get 15 minutes at the combine, what could they possibly learn from him that they didn't after a week? Maybe it's a smoke screen so it doesn't appear they are fawning all over him. Linehan was quoted today saying Wentz blew him away at Senior Bowl.

Yeah I don't think its complicated. They didn't want to waste their formal interview on a guy they spent a week interviewing. If anything it may be that the Cowboys don't want to appear too interested.

I'd be more concerned if we took a day 2 QB. It'd be a totally wasted pick in a deep draft at other positions.

I can't think of anyone dumb enough to pass on a potential franchise guy in the top 10, then turn around and burn one on a vastly inferior player in the top 100.
