Brian Williams Suspended From NBC News

His job is to be the person trusted to tell the others the news, he used lies to gain sympathy and trust. Think of it as using PED's, those who get caught get punished, now when he is reinstated he won't be able to use those PED's and do a good job so he's useless, cut him.

That's not a good analogy for him. He's a Rangers fan. Half that team over the last 2 decades used PEDs.
 
Say hello to the next daytime talk show host. He's gonna be telling guys that they're the father in no time.

In six months, he won't be. And if he is, NBC won't care.

NBC as much as said he WILL be back, in their statement about his suspension. I posted the relevant part of it a few posts back.

I read that but there is no way he gets his credibility back in 6 months especially with all this other stuff popping up.

I think there will be a recalibration by NBC especially if the new anchor gets traction.

They don't care about his credibility. The Veterans in this story tried to get them to listen, for years. They knowingly let this puke LIE, for years.

All they want is for the shitstorm to wane, then it will be back to business as usual.

They care about his credibility now and if his replacement gets the same or better ratings his ass is out.

He is a laughing stock now and he will be again when he resurfaces, I bet even more comes out over the next 6 months.

I guess we will see.

But thinking again on this, you're right. It's gonna be about Lester's ratings now, it is likely his job to lose. I mean, how would it look? Replacing the high rated black guy with the lying white guy?

Something they gotta think about there in PC land they live in.

You don't think PC would work in Lester's favor, if his ratings were as good or maybe even a little under, Brian's? They have their built in excuse now, for social promotion. Affirmative Action baby! They can make history, First Black Network News Anchor ever!
