At 2-5 would Schottenheimer get fired? Should he be fired (obviously, yes)?

I think there's a real chance that Schottenheimer is gone if these shitbirds lose tonight against a backup QB down their top 2 WR's.

My heart tells me it would happen, but my brain tells me they'd need to lose against Arizona at home next week to seal it.

What say you?

Jerry wont do it. He isnt going to pay someone to sit at home.

I could be wrong (that would be a first) and we could be happy for a second. At least until we see the lackluster candidates.

All true, I think there's a chance it could happen with a loss tonight, but ultimately I think he'd get another chance.

But if they lose tonight and at home against Arizona, I think he's gone.

Plus, this terrible division will prevent it. Jerry will hold out hope that there will be a miraculous turnaround until it's mathematically impossible.

He damn sure should be fired, but there is no damn way he will be. Even after two straight losses to the Eagles and Cardinals it's not happening.

There's no bragging rights in winning a terrible division, but that would mean at least one home playoff game and money in Jerry's pockets.

If it's another offensive dud, I could see it happening at some point before the end of the season but probably not yet. Pettine could take over as interim.

I agree. I think it would take a loss tonight and losing to the Cardinals next week.

If they lose tonight, I think he will be fired this week. Pettine to interim. Klayton calling plays.

Maybe the Pettine hire was always about hedging their bets if they fired Brian in season.

I don't think it matters who the coach is. Team is just cursed by the football gods now.

Even with Parcells: Romo fucking the hold.

Fat Wade: Patrick The Cunt Crayton giving up on his route for a sure TD. Bounced in first game as the one seed. :lol

Garrett: Fucking DezGate

Fat Mike: Upset at home 2021. Annihilated at home 2023.

IT DOESN'T MATTER :budd

There’s really no point in firing him in season. There’s no one to turn it over to.

Let him coach out the string in this disaster and then do a real search in the offseason.

Pettine would be the only logical choice but how can you do that? Guy hasnt been with the team but for 2 weeks.

Basically the only option. But yeah would be pretty weird to jump a quality control guy who has been with the team two weeks up to head coach.

But most of this staff is very inexperienced.
