There was absolutely nothing wrong with that hit and the consternation over it is retarded.

Suggs is absolutely right. If Chip Kelly chooses to put Bradford in positions to take hits that's on him.

You absolutely can't run the read option and think your QB isn't going to get hit. It's dumb to even suggest it. Of course, this is a football idiot's opinion on it, so take it for what it's worth.

If you're a defensive player you have to cover the play like the QB could keep the ball and run it.

Correct. He is treated like a RB at that point.

I don't get why the Panthers have ignored him.

I bet he goes over there and gives them 800 yards and 6 TD's.

Yeah, saw that earlier. What a terrible thing to even suggest to a young impressionable rookie.

Why is Cris Carter being treated as some sort of mentor? He's more like a mental patient.

And what's crazy is that Warren F'ng Sapp of all people is there too! :lol

I've always said Cris Carter is a fake good guy.

He was a dirty player in the league, and he's a piece of shit off the field, but he puts on this facade of being a Christian man and an all around good guy when he is not.

He's showing his true colors in that video and what he's really about. I like how he felt the need to start using slang and talking in ebonics just so he could look cool to the young guys, because that phony doesn't talk like that when he's on ESPN.

It pleases me greatly that he never won shit in his entire career.

The real irony on this is that the A Football Life that was on NFL Network tonight was about Carter.

When I think "Hmm, let's see, who should we get in here to talk to these players and get them on the right path?" in no way do Cris Carter and Warren Sapp come to mind. I guess the NFL wants to limit themselves to "the guys that these kids see on ESPN and NFL Network."

Even so, where's Darren Woodson?

Seahawks Sign DB George Farmer, Waive/Injured T Kona Schwenke
Saturday, August 22, 2015 3:22 PM PDT

The Seahawks signed George Farmer, an undrafted rookie receiver, but will convert the former USC Trojan to defensive back. Tackle Kona Schwenke was waived/injured after suffering a knee injury in Friday night’s game at Kansas City.
Farmer, one of the top receiver recruits in the nation out of Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, California, played three seasons at USC, then signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent. He was waived by the Cowboys last week.
The 6-foot-1, 215 pound Farmer will add depth to a secondary that was missing 10 defensive backs due to injury in Friday night’s game.

Good old Jeremiah Ratliff has been suspended 3 games for substance abuse violations.

Part of it is they want guys who have been in trouble and fallen on hard times to come in and give personal accounts of how they went down the wrong path. Or in Sapp's case how they keep going down the wrong path.
