We actually had a very good running game and a RB who ranked near the top of the NFL. So yeah, um no. The people who laughed were probably right.

This is the kind of delusional thinking that Jerry loves.

Like when you both agreed that Joseph Randle was somehow going to be this amazing stud-- and he tanked spectacularly like most here thought he would. Or like when you said you wouldn't draft Todd Gurley in the first round at all, and he went top ten and carried his team through several victories.

In 2105 there was no consistency and no short yardage game-- the two things the offense relied on most from the running game in 2014. The overall yardage is not nearly as important.

You keep McFadden as your primary running back, and you're practically begging to fail.

Actually no one thought he was an amazing stud. No one said that. And he didn't fail spectacularly for any other reason then he is bat shit crazy.

Rams without Gurley were 1-1. With Gurley they were 6-8. The previous season the Rams went 6-10. So yeah, not exactly appreciable better. More like they were very similar with or without Gurley.

But lets face facts. Gurley 1106 yards on 229 carries. McFadden 1089 on 239 carries. Is Gurley a better player, of course he is. But the facts don't support having Gurley somehow changing the outcome of a team dramatically.

The stats actually back up us dropping off in short yardage. And I agree, we need a short yardage back. But the consistency argument really holds very little water. When you actually go back through the stats Murray was inconsistent running the ball just like every RB. It just seemed like he was so much better because we had a passing game capable of converting a third down.

I'm not so sure that you can compare Gurley based on the Rams record.

Gurley was still working himself back from an ACL, and is clearly the future for the Rams at RB. The Rams have so many other issues they are dealing with and the overall team play has been dreadful for a while now. Gurley in and of himself is not going to turn that team around.

I get a boner thinking about what that kid would run like behind the Cowboys OL.

Fisher is tweeting Dallas is "done" with Hardy.

Dood, pay for Fisher's site. I bet he tells you the real scoop.

Makes me wonder now if Dallas isn't thinking about Hardy coming back with the Gregory suspension and all.

Talking about Lawrence's back surgery.

Not making excuses, guys... But we had a great excuse.

Talking about Lawrence's back surgery.

Well that sounds ... horrible.
