I wouldn't hesitate to trade up in the 1st to get him in 2 years. He's basically the next Adrian Peterson without the injury history or fumbles.

I don't know about trade up, but if you're getting the next AP in the draft he is definitely worth a high first.

I don't think accountability is the issue here. He absolutely was benched and it absolutely was for defying the coaches.

The real problem is that Garrett said came out and said in so many words that it was a benching.

And now Jerry is contradicting and undermining the coach.

Yep. It's a problem. And a pattern of enabling this guy on and off the field.

If they're going to do it with Dez, fine. But mediocre players should not be coddled and enabled.

I meant no accountability by Jerry. He has always done that. Enabling his players to be retards instead of sticking to what the coaches have done to try to create and maintain accountability.

First of all if he was benched, in no way do I expect our coaches to come out and state so to the media. You shouldn't air dirty laundry like that to the general public. Jerry though, he is a hot mess of his own. At this point I just kind of picture him as this guy in the corner by himself doing a lot of talking but who really has no impact on what is going on with the team. Just Jerry making himself feel important still.
