Hey Guys!!!

I guess I am supposed to care that Haley made it, but he was a mercenary. Props and all that. But not stoked at all.

:lol

How was he a mercenary?

Played for 2 teams.

Started in San Fran.

Traded to Dallas.

Went back to San Fran when his body was shot to end career.

Huh? How was he a mercenary? He was traded to us. Did he ever even enter free agency?

Would that make Joe Montana a mercenary?

Having Eddie DeBartolo Jr. introduce him tarnishes my impressions of him as a Cowboy.

Did you really expect him to not tribute the 49ers?

Don't care. They traded him away with the intent of destroying Dallas. Fuck them.

That doesnt change the fact that he was a 49er and gave him a shot in the league. I fully expected Dallas to be a blip on the Haley HOF speech and it was.

Me too, which is why despite the fact that I like Haley, I never for one second thought he should be inducted into our ROH.

The ROH is for the very best players in franchise history who also are Cowboys in their heart. Haley definitely doesn't fall into the latter category and should not have been inducted as a result.

:zzz

I am getting less and less impressed with McClay's choices of guys to put through the motions.

I know some people credit him with Laurent Robinson, but that was as much Garrett and his relationship with Norv as anything else.

Jerral did it as a favor to Haley, because it had apparently been an obstacle to his entering the HOF.
