I guess if you don't just immediately say Dez Bryant and start waving around a foam finger you are a fake fan. Look ma, screenshots!

I'm not sure about that. I think its more a case of let him do it a little longer before you start comparing him to a top WR. This coming from a guy that likes Beckham and was skeptical about Dez from the beginning. I don't think its a bad thing to say that this debate is a bit premature.

Early predictions on players are kind of what we do...for instance, me claiming JPP was in the same tier as Ware as a DE...which proved to be false.

Yeah...

Not to sound like Dez sucks or anything, but his TD numbers are a tad inflated. He's practically force fed TDs in the short yardage goalline situations where teams usually run it in.

It's funnier that you got butthurt because people actually debated the topic that you brought up.

So, debating a topic is now instantly being butthurt? So noted.

As an aside...Dez and Beckham have very similar numbers over their last 6 games.

Witten's redzone disappearances help inflate the numbers too.

That said, production is production. I'm sure Calvin Johnson got his share of jump balls over the years when a run would have done just as well. Bottom line the team went with who they thought gave them the best chance. Every great WR gets this.

Dez' only weakness is a lack of elite speed. His YPC average is deflated a bit partly because Dallas likes to throw the ball to him short and see if he can break tackles.

Lookit, I'm always gonna go with the bigger player, okay? /parcells

Interesting. Makes me wonder if the shine is off Sterling Moore.

I personally can't think of a way that Pellerin can suddenly become the 4th CB fresh off the PS, but it has been noticeable how teams are picking on Moore with increased frequency as the season has unfolded.

Moore is our 3rd corner right now.

If the comment was he would be given a chance to be the fourth CB, it makes no sense since he is the fourth healthiest guy.

Patmon is hurt and might even go on IR. Who stands in Pellerin's way? Jakar Hamilton?

Have we signed Pellerin to the active roster yet? That may be what Garrett was alluding to.

No, but I think we will end up doing so.

I think this was just Garrett's way of saying that he may earn a roster spot. Basically a bunch of WGAS, and we better have a fourth corner active for the Giants game. It would be insane to only have 3 active. One injury and suddenly you're playing a safety against Beckham.

According to the FWST it's happening.

Cowboys will add Pellerin as fourth cornerback
Posted Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014

IRVING The Cowboys will sign practice-squad cornerback Micah Pellerin to the active roster later this week to give them depth for Sunday’s game against theNew York Giants.

The Cowboys have just three cornerbacks available because Tyler Patmon is out two to four week with a knee injury.

The Cowboys will need to make a roster move to make room for Pellerin and will likely target the defensive line where they have 11 players on the active roster.
