I think he's just saying he can't waste energy fearing that Romo's back will give out at the slightest touch. That kind of fear can motivate, but it usually is more of a distraction that damages confidence. Frederick also doesn't play OT, BTW.

I agree . Every QB is going to get hit from time to time but the rest of the team can't get embroiled in that and forget the rest of the game.

:lol

Didn't take them long to figure it out.

If Ginger Goof Grandson is one of them, maybe there's hope that little mongoloid will do the right thing when he takes over.

He just might, I used to think Stephen would but he's acting more like his daddy everyday

Interior pressure hits just as hard.

Agreed, though each of the sacks Romo took the other night came from outside pressure which is what I was referring to.

Each of those sacks had guys coming with ears pulled back, and that comes from knowing the play is a pass.

This team still abandons the run way too quickly from what I saw, and it's strange given that may be the the team's biggest strength with Williams unproven, Dez blanketed, and Romo and Witten aging.

There is still plenty of time for the elder Jones' to get goof grandson seasoned in the Jones way of running a football team.

Why do you have to assume? How about doing your effing job and taking it personal when he gets hit?

On the OL you have to do your job and trust your teammates to do theirs. If you think about getting out of place discipline breaks down entirely.

This should be good news.

This surprises me. Hope this means he will be sticking around, I like the way he ran the ball over the past couple of weeks.

That's how I interpret the comments. That Ryan has impressed enough to stick; if healthy, he's a viable weapon.

Cut Randle and we are at 3. I'm all about that.

We aren't cutting him. We feel just as comfortable with what we know of him to keep him out as well.

My guess is Randle gets the mini-IR spot and Williams has until he's eligible to come back to prove his worth.

You can't really count Dunbar as a RB. It's just too risky to put him on the field. Best to save him for very very very special occasions.

I'm fine with cutting Dunbar as well. Either or for me.

I'd be cool with that because I feel pretty confident that Williams (if he stays healthy) will do just that.
