Honestly, I don't care if they cut him. The braintrust was irresponsible to try to get a competition rolling with one career backup against another.

In fact, the way they addressed the DL over this offseason was just deplorable and inexcusable if you are trying to field a competitive team.

But I honestly believe they think this would have worked and they will spin the injury excuse dial again.

It's Bernadeau and that other guy all over again. It's pretty much the same failed plan they employed for the offensive line before they decided to actually spend premium resources on it.
 
It's sad and infuriating to think about but two draft day decisions really hurt us. The trade up for Claiborne and drafting Escobar. Imagine adding Brockers, Wagner, and a 2013 second round DL to this defense. Suddenly the defense isnt a train wreck. And we wouldnt miss Claiborne or Escobar at all.

The problem is that most people on here despised Brockers. I liked him but I was in the severe minority.

I think he's just saying he can't waste energy fearing that Romo's back will give out at the slightest touch. That kind of fear can motivate, but it usually is more of a distraction that damages confidence. Frederick also doesn't play OT, BTW.
