These Mexicans would go insane around here. SA is a great fan city.

Even though SA is the 7th largest city in the country about half or more are poor.

They know about championship professional sports too, man. Spurs are much beloved.

7th for actual city limits, but metro area it ranks 31st. Bay area is 5th.

They sold out the Saints games in 05. IMO, if the raiders moved here the crazy Spurs fans I work with would buy tickets and gear like lunatics. The only issue is getting a real stadium. The city/county are tightwads and they are still sore about building the Alamo Dome and not getting a team. They could swing 50 million for a renovation of the Alamo Dome that would leave it within minimum NFL standards for the short term.

The real problem would be getting 500 million (Seattle's stadium cost just under 600 in 2014 dollars and it was built in a more expensive state) together to build a modern NFL venue in the near future. They could do it with hotel and car rental taxes like most cities but tourism is the lifeblood of the town so you'd get a lot of opposition from people who would be afraid of discouraging tourism.

I'd personally like to see it. I live just outside of town anyway so it wouldn't be me having to deal with stadium traffic.

I don't know. It could end up like Jacksonville.

The owners would have to approve it. Good old Jer wouldn't let it happen.

Depends on how much pull Jerry has in that room. They could all say, "you know what, fuck Jerry" and vote against him and McNair.

I think SA is a much better city than Jacksonville. People here will turn out to watch football even if it makes no financial sense for them to do it.

He must be going to a flea market. ( I don't expect anyone but the locals to understand this,) There is a town named Canton , not far from Dallas that has a giagantic flea market sale each month. It not fun when you have to go to this much trouble. No wonder Iamtdg gets irritated at times.

We played Canton in football when I was in high school. I hated their field. It sucked ass. I actually broke my collar bone on that field.

You sure do, and to thank for that we have our dipshit owner/GM's signing of Marion Barber to a terrible contract which made him decide to pass on McCoy in the 2nd round of 2009 despite his having a 1st round grade.

In his career McCoy is 4-5 against us with 719 yards on 139 carries (5.1 YPC) but only 2 TD's, certainly very good yardage stats but I wouldn't call that owning. His W-L record against us is actually worse than against the Giants or Skins.

I didn't think he owned us. Even if he had really what is there to brag about. A lot of players have had their way against us.
